Here are a couple pictures for you guys. I was dancing so I didn't get to shoot any pictures of that and Bruce was definately not up for the challenge so (don't tell him I said that)...but here's one of me before dinner, all dressed up and ready to go.
The other one is of me and a guy on the DTS; Ron. We're trying to do a happy-picture...it kind of worked out.
Well...Roger og ut.

Firkantdans

just had to make a post about friday's event. you know, I'm in montana and they have cowboys and farmers and stuff over here, so on friday we had "Montana-night". we ate Montana-food, I guess, and had some Montana-competitions and they also had some Montana-stories, pretty funny. and after dinner we had square-dancing, where you pair up and do this western-dance. the guy leading the whole thing was awesome! and it was a lot of fun by Teutates! we don't have that back home, so it was new to me. it's probably mostly Norwegians reading this, but a lot of the Americans here had never done it before either so.
I'll probably post a couple pictures of the event when I get a computer to do it with. I don't think I've EVER wore my pants that high in all my life...it was horrible, but I needed something to go with the plaid-shirt, so.
well, I think that's all for now.
snakkes...

just so you know and also to keep Moa from getting an involuntary bad reputation; the neat breath-taking bathrobe in the picture is not his, it's actually David's. don't get me wrong, he got it for his birthday and he really loves it, but I'm not sure if Moa feels the same way about it and cherishes it as much as David does.
just so you know.

Go' dag go' dag!

School just started today and we've been introduced to the rules at the base, and also had a tour, or de-tour if you like, of the facilities. that was pretty alright, but it's gonna be good to get started for real. the last few days have been pretty good, getting to know new people, eating my first corn-dog. did you know that there's a hot-dog in there? I had no idea!
I'll post a few pictures today as well for all of you visual people.

the first picture is one of my moose; Bruce "The Moose", or "elgen Helge" as we would say in Norway, at the airport in Amsterdam. (dunno if it will be the first picture when I post this, but it was the first picture I added to this post so,)he's my travel-companion and also joined me to go to Australia. (I actually got him on the airplane as a "gift to the children", but don't tell him that, he'll get pretty upset, as he stills thinks he's from the deep forests of the cold and wild Norway) he will be doing some updates when I'm busy with the SOW and giving you some inside on what's going on in my life from an other "person's" perspective, or "froskeperspektiv" as some would say (don't tell him I said that either. he's not very tall, hence his lack of self-confidence)

in one of the pictures you see a part of the YWAM-base. I couldn't fit everything in one shot so.

you can't really see it that well here, but this is Bruce looking out over Minneapolis from the air-plane.

this is my room-mate, Moa, from India. he's not as angry as he may seem in this picture. Moa's a really nice guy. you should get to know him...but he's here at the moment so it won't be that easy as of now, but later on you should seriously consider it. and by the way, he's not doing a "Yo mama, what's up with yo brotha?!"- move with his hand, he's just scratching his arm. just for the record.

that was just another post to show that I'm alive and well in Lakeside, MT and that I'm doing just fine.
have a good one and God bless.

Hei alle sammen!

I`m finally in Montana with about 3 hours of sleep out of 48 hours. there will be, at the moment, 11 people on the SOW, some people had visa-situations and stuff so. I live with a guy from India called Moa, so that is pretty international you may say. there are 9 or 10 nationalities on my school.
there will be over 100 students and over 100 staff when all the schools have started, so many new faces to see and !names! to learn. I will be posting some pictures some time soon, but as of now I do not have any way of getting them on this computer. so we`ll see how that one will work out.
have a good one and keep checking back for more details on this glorious adventure of mine.
God speed.
