Bilder fra "hiken"

Hey!
I'm just posting a couple more pictures from the hike, one is from the top so the view is pretty boring. The other one actually shows the base, from halfway up the hillside, and the lake.
I'm also posting a picture of the speaker this last week, Sandy Hoffman. He spoke on Musicianship and leadership. It was good to freshen up some of the theory lurking way in the back of my head.
I don't know what more to write, just thought I'd give a livstegn.
Gud bless and I hope you're seeking the Word and the Guy who gave it to us.

Hei sveis!

hey!
it's been a while since I last updated, so even though I don't have any big news for you, I though I'd just update anyways so you'll know I'm alive, 'cause I am.
this week the lectures were on Worship and Prophecy and there was a married couple, Becky and Larry Thomas + a guy called Ryan something who spoke. I enjoyed it; it was not too abstract and it was relevant and understandable so. we also tried some prophesying ourselves at the end of the week, and that was really interesting and encouraging.
yeah, and me and a guy from DTS just thought we'd go hiking to the top of this mountain/hill or whatever, and we did. it didn't look too steep from the base, but we were proved wrong, 'cause it was pretty steep, and without trails up the hillside. so we struggled to the top and it took about an hour or so. it was pretty tiring, and when we finally made it up there, the view was close to none. I mean, you could see mountain tops just like the one we had hiked up to, but that's no fun; we wanted to see the lake, Lakeside and the base. but there were trees blocking the view to where we wanted to look. it was pretty lame to have come all the way up there and finding there was no view whatsoever, at least the way we looked at it. we officially named the top "Lametop". so I'm posting a couple pictures from our adventure. I'll try and post a picture from halfway up too, where you can actually see the base, but I haven't uploaded it yet, so have patience.
I'm adding some other pictures too. there's one of my roommate, dressing up as me on song cafe night, and one of the school leader dressing up as his wife and Didier from Chad as his room-mate Robin, from India. I'm also adding a photo I took of the water-tower on the base.
hope you're doing alright, 'cause I am.
Gud bless!

Hallois

Hey!
I haven't made a post in a little while, so I thought I should make one.
The first weeks have been really great. The first week we had about songwriting, so we had Sean Astin (I think) and Jason Houtsma teaching us about that. they are both worship-leaders at a church called Hillcrest, in Washington somewhere. They are both excellent musicians so it was really inspiring to both watch and listen. They also critiqued our songs, and mande comments about them, so that was pretty cool. We all need to write one song each week, so this week was pretty helpful. I've written two songs already, and I'm working on my third one. At the end of the school we will be recording a CD with one song from each student.
The second week we had about Identity of a Worshiper where a guy called Matt Atkins spoke. He's the pastor at Hillcrest. The most inspiring thing about this week was the last day, where they spoke words over us (from God). And they told me stuff that matched exactly what I'll be doing when I get back to Norge. I wasn't 100% sure I was going to do that, but now I am, so that's pretty awesome.
This week we had about Spiritual Warfare and we went through the book of Ephesians, which was interesting, 'cause the speaker (Tom something) spoke on Spiritual Warfare from a different angle sort of...a bit hard to explain.
I'm doing really good over here. It's starting to get colder, so the winter is about to settle in Montana. This is a picture of me and Rachael, from DTS, just messing around with the camera. It was a lot of fun...there's more where that came from. She thought Team Antonsen was funny, believe it or not.
well, God bless you guys and vi snakkes en eller annen gang.
